K&N HP-1010 (3,73in!) should also fit, but I haven't tried yet. It's white.

hey guys. nothing wrong with the K&N filters(KN204) you'll change it when you change oil anyway and that 17mm bolt is wonderful. just don't torque as much as the kaw filter but go with what the directions on the filter say(9ftlbs or 12 newton meters)
 
i use belray 10w40 exl which i pay about 25.00 for at my local shop for a 4 liter jug. i get the filters from bike bandit for 13.46. just change the oil at regular intervals, i do mine every 3,000 miles and my 05 just tripped 33,000 miles today and runs beautifully. i love this bike ;D
 
update: 34,000 miles ;)
