What's the strangest place you have ridden

From a previous thread
MotoMoto:
A small fountain. I hopped the sidewalk to go around a spot where a truck was unloading and had stopped trffic dead. The sidewalk had too many people (the nerve) so I detoured through the shallow end of a fountain. It was 100F+ in the middle of August, so the spray felt mighty nice. The boots got wet but who cares. I've run through a huge fountain in the rain in Paris, does that count?

Quibble:
.... can we sticky a new thread - "what's the strangest place you've ridden?"

Per that fine suggestion Let the Fun start.

Anyone posting up, try to include "the story" behind the adventure. "I rode through a supermarket" wont cut it. Pictures would be great

Tough call, my strangest place isn't that strange. I have a lazy tendency to park right next to the front door of wherever I'm going so I'm always hoping on the pavement (sidewalk to you lot). I guess the cheekiest was riding through the pedestrianised area in the centre of my home city so I could park next to the door of the restaurant I was going to. I did get some cross looks for it.

Do the authorities (or restaurant management) ever have anything to say about your parking right next to the door?

My "strangest place" is pretty pale.  When I was in college I lived in a dorm with a nice straight line of pine trees along the front.  One night I used them as pylons for a fair number of slalom runs.  Not too exciting, but at the same time a true display of lack of good judgement.

miguel:
does my motel room count?

during a weekend ride to Yosemite with friends, i discovered that the overnight low was going to be 23F.  being that i did want to sit on a fristy seat in the morning, i decided to bring in the Z and have her spend the night with me.

When I first joined the forum, you had a pic up on your posts of your Z indoors with a quote about "true love is not leaving her out in the cold" or something like that.  Later, when my wife was giving me crap about coddling my bike, I tried to find it but couldn't locate it.  Was it from this same "expedition"...or do you bring her inside a lot?
