Just got mine done, going for a ride now. Instead of using a screwdriver to pry up to get the bolts out, I just used my rear stand on the swingarm to lift(with my leg) to take the pressure off the bolts.
Pretty easy mod. Now for the ride.

Have you got the axel stands just at the footpegs ? it can
take the weight then i take it. Got a jack and stands but
wasn't sure where to sit them.
Got the shock today and its in fab condition and the linkage
came a few days ago.
Got the rectifier all moved ect so just when i get time its going
on, its not great riding weather here but looking forward to trying
it out.
Great post this and just so helpfull..................appreciated.

I had my jack stands under the "plates" that the pegs mount to. I just used a couple towels on the stand to prevent damage.

Not sure what you're referring to -- if you install the ZX6/636 shock on the stock swingarm, you don't disturb the brake line at all. If you are asking whether the Z750S brake line will install on a ZX6/636 swingarm, that's a different question. Might do a search here or on RiderForums to find a detailed post.

Sorry, I'd like to know if I have to change brake lines when I'll swap front forks (from 636), but have posted in wrong topic.

Yes you need different lines for front or rear end swap. I called Helusa told them Z750s master with zx6 calipers and gave them the lengths and colors I wanted, they fit perfect, complete with stainless banjo bolts and copper washers. $50.00 per line any length.

Great step by step instructions, just one question, what torque settings did you use putting it back together??
Cheers

Bugger, tried to fit an 05-06 636 shock to an 08 (L8F) model and it won't go. The reg/rectifier bracket cant move and would have to cut to fit the shock.
