"Reported Attack Site!"
« on: April 14, 2008, 04:08:30 PM »
I'm having to use Opera to browse to the site now, Firefox won't do it as the site's been reported as an 'attack site'.  I definitely picked up a trojan from it last week (I'm not too bothered though as Sophos AV is pretty awesome).

I'm not quite sure what to think either, I get the impression that this forum's clean now as Sophos hasn't reported any new problems.

Hello "miguel"

We have detected multiple failed log in attempts (1) on your account.
Therefore, to insure maximum security, we blocked your account on Kawasaki Z750S Owner's Association for  minutes.

You will have one more chance to access your account, using the correct password, at Mon 14. Apr, 2008 09:33:31.

If you receive this warning and are not responsible for those attemps, you should contact the site admin, and report this issue.

If you forgot you password, please use the appropriate link to receive a new, random, password.
Of course, you will be able to change that random password.
Here is a few tips to choose your new, secure, password:
- Never use "simple password" like your birthday, your dog's name, etc
- Use both number and letters in any combination
- a longer password is harder to guess.
- use different passwords on different sites (e.g. use some of the site name letters in your standard password)

What AV software do you use Miguel?

I can definitely recommened the Free AVG stuff:

http://free.grisoft.com/

Their (free) Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware software is pretty damn good.

Neo, I have had other members say similar things that there's a virus  on the board, could it be one of the skins or has the new script been attacked?

I've tried to get on here twice today.  1st time i had to heal 4 viruses then the pc froze, this time i had to heal 3 before it let me in.  My girlfriend needs the pc for uni, so i wont be coming baclk for a while untill it's fixed.  Cant take the risk and dont have the time to spent removing viruses from it.  Hopefull someone can sort it out soon.

I have no problems unless I am on here 5 or more minutes, then it acts up.

I run antivirus all the time and im on here for way more than 5 minutes at a time. believe me I spend a good 2+ hours on here a day just to check up on things daily and since I got rid of the malware script that was on here I have not run into one problem yet.

Everyone needs to update there antivirus and run a full system scan. The site no longer has a problem, more than likely its from when it did and it hasnt been deleted properly.

Hey neo.  I have AGV antivirus and it is this which is showing the viruses.  It updates daily.

Something worth a look though, is......  If i'm on another webpage, i then come onto this site, at the bottom left of the page, just where it quickly tells you the web address while the pc is loading it.  It come up the zee750 link, then will flash to some other site (something with xxx in the name, it goes by so quick i couldn't see it properly), then this site will load and then all the trouble starts.

It seems like it's redirection me somewhere else, but showin this site.

I just tried it again and it came up http:/golnanosat.com with loads of numbers at the end.  I've just now had to heal another 5 viruses.  Hope this helps
