2008 Mileage Contest - Starts May 1st
« on: May 01, 2008, 07:27:57 AM »
Ok!!!  Starting May 1st, post a pic of your miles and start counting.

We can make a special rank for the forum member with the most miles for this year.  Due to members living in all types of climates, I think we should end the contest on Oct 31st.  Does that sound fair?

My starting mileage is 31,633 miles as of May 1st.  I took a picture tonight, because I know I'll be riding in the morning and will completely forget to take a pic before heading off to work.   8)

you have to take a photo as visual evidence for beginning and ending mileage. Thats the only rule I can think of for this contest.

Well wasnt able to take a pic before I left for work as I was needing fuel  and the 07-08 Zed replaces the milage readout with a flashing "FUEL" message.

So wasn't till I got to work that I got the pic, which works out well as its a bit like this.

Dont think I will worry about the 4.5 miles I lost as a result of travelling to work 1st :P

And thats 2k miles in exactly 2 Calendar months.

This works out well.  The bike was bought on 4/28/2007 w/ 3100 miles, so 6200 miles for the year on the Z.

Is this Kawasaki Z750S only, or can I use my Z1000?  The Z750S is still around but not my main ride anymore.

Your main transportation bike. Pick one and report the one you think will have the most mileage at the end of the contest.
