I bet little japanese testers could see fine with the mirrors so they ok 'em. Then we buy 'em, jump on and find ourselves looking at our elbows and muttering murderous imprecations against Kawasaki.

Hello from Montgomery, IL.  I am a  2005 Z750S owner since April, and I found this link from Scottymac on Riderforums.  Seems like this place is coming alive nicely.

Hi Guys,  I've had my 2006 Z750S for about 6 weeks now.  1800 miles on it.  In response to the guy who hasn't let it open in first gear yet one of my favorite things about the bike is that the front wheel doesn't come up unless you want it to.  However, the front tire gets EXTREMELY light I once hit a slight dip as I was hitting about 9k in first and the bike went vertical in a fraction of a second it scared me and I let off the throttle almost bruised my pelvis on the gas tank.   My bike is stock, and I haven't yet encountered a 600 sport bike that can hang with it.  I didn't expect this much performance when I bought the bike I just didn't want a slow cruiser.  I love my z750!

LOL! That's exactly how I felt. I think I was expecting it to be kind of wishy-washy in the power department, too.

Welcome Soberer!

That's why I'm a huge fan of the modern 750cc mill in a UJM chassis. It's not as brawny as an open classer, but still far stronger than a six-hundy.

I can't help but wonder how many potential buyers overlook the 750 Zs because they think it won't have enough power. Or they think "ZR-7" and look elsewhere.

A lot of riders go through a long process determining what the "right" amount of power for the street is. IMHO, the Z750 is the closest correct answer to this question I've found. Sure, I wish it was lighter, had better suspension from the factory, and less vibration at times, but factor in the price, and it's a smokin' deal.

Hi there, I'm Carolyn from Cupertino, CA (San Francisco Bay Area).

I've had my '05 Z since January and have put about 3500 miles on it.  I hope to double that within the next couple of weeks -- I'm actually on a road trip now.   :D

Anyway, hello, and I'm looking forward to chatting more about this bike!

Carolyn! Good to see you, welcome.

Words cannot begin to describe how jealous I am of your ability to rack up the miles and get out there on the road.

How has the "buzz zone" been treating you? Do you feel it's changed at all during the accumulation of miles? Does it remain a point of contention for you?

Any issues otherwise?

Looking forward to hearing from someone with as much saddle time on the bike as you have had. Oh, and enjoy your trip!  8)
