What Does that Mean?
« on: July 24, 2006, 08:11:55 PM »
While I consider myself to be internet savvy, when reading some posts I find myself googling a phase or term just to figure out what being said.

For example, while not being new to motorcycling, I was quite new to upgrading and modifying them. I spent a day trying to figure out what a tail tidy was. Luckily Scott was there to let me know that  a tail  tidy was just another name for a rear fender eliminator.

Since we have truly International Membership, It was suggested that we have a place for our "special" terms and definitions.

Hence this topic.

And IMHO (or in my honest opinion) is a great idea.

Good point, we don't have "fenders" in the UK, for example.

I think they're what we'd call "mudguards" :-)

Hey Chris,

Sorry it took me so long to get here.  So, this is where the thread is?  Do we want to move the sticky from the "General Discussion" thread?    I think it may be more fitting to place it here.  :-k
