What Does that Mean?

While I consider myself to be internet savvy, when reading some posts I find myself googling a phase or term just to figure out what being said.

For example, while not being new to motorcycling, I was quite new to upgrading and modifying them. I spent a day trying to figure out what a tail tidy was. Luckily Scott was there to let me know that  a tail  tidy was just another name for a rear fender eliminator.

Since we have truly International Membership, It was suggested that we have a place for our "special" terms and definitions.

Hence this topic.

And IMHO (or in my honest opinion) is a great idea.

Good point, we don't have "fenders" in the UK, for example.

I think they're what we'd call "mudguards"

Hey Chris,

Sorry it took me so long to get here.  So, this is where the thread is?  Do we want to move the sticky from the "General Discussion" thread?    I think it may be more fitting to place it here.
