Matris Front Kit.
canadianshark74:
I have had my zed for 3 seasons now. I swapped the rear shock for the zx6r one last year.
Now, I have to fix the front end. Otherwise I am selling the zed and getting a bike with better suspension.
My questions to those who have installed the Matris kit.
1. Which kit did you buy and why? There is a significant difference in price.

I bought and fitted the cheaper of the 2 kits. Basically because I'm cheap. And wanted to see if I could improve front end without swapping the forks. Well. This kit works. Easy to install. Easy to set up. And they make the bike handle much better. No diving under braking and none of that wallowing sponging sort of feeling.
Just as a side line. If your modding a bit, You should look into the brake kit too. Awesome.

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like the cheaper kit would do just the trick.
What brake kit are you talking about?
billyritchie:
Not exactly a brake kit. But a brake upgrade. I got brackets from webike.japan to allow me to fit Ducati brembo four pot calipers to 04 z750. Bloody amazing difference. If your modding anyway you should have a look

Ducati calipers sound expensive!
I bet they stop the zed pretty quick though.
I think for brakes I will install a braided line kit for now.
