Rick Mayer Cycle 10% Discount on Handmade Saddles
« on: May 24, 2006, 09:45:31 AM »
Now offered to all Kawasaki Z750S Owner's Association members.

bluepoof seemed pleased with her new saddle, I looked up Rick's website: www.rickmayercycle.com

I was very impressed with what I saw and dropped him an email requesting  a discount for our members. Rick personally responded with a robust, "Yes"

I might have to break my piggy for a leather saddle (vinyl is also avaliable).  The prices are really reasonable to boot! Please remember discounts are not combinable, one per order.

If your looking for a new saddle I urge you to check him out, why buy off the rack when you can have tailor-made for a few bucks more!

Thanks bluepoof for the lead.

and most of all THANKS Rick!

Not to burst anyones bubble, but he offers a 10% discount to anyone who prepays for sending in a seat for customizing.  He states that on his web page.

Yes, but he also frequently offers discounts to motorcyle enthusiast group members as well. I know this for a fact, being a long time and current member of both the FZ1OA and ZRXOA forums.

It is possible the discount is in addition to what he advertises to the general public.

Either way, it appears you still get a high quality seat for a very fair price.

You know that's correct, I guess that what I get for doing things in the middle of the night.

However, the real point is that this guy makes a great saddle at a reasonable price, looking at his site he knows more about foam, leather, vinyl and how they interact with a motorcycle riders butt than anyone in the States.  (Talk about a niche market).

I spent six hours on-top of my zee this weekend and while the stock seat wasn't too bad, I couldn't help to think what one of these aftermarket saddles would be like. (I'm old, young guys think about pipes and PCIII).

In the future I'll work a bit harder to get deeper discounts exclusively for our zeeMembers!
